Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to all of our family and friends!

We sure did have a wonderful weekend just the three of us:) We hope you did too!

The Bunny Cake made specially by Daddy!!

It's a Easter tradition around here and Walker LOVES to help Daddy decorate it.

Walker's Easter basket was full of awesome treats!

See the yellow hen....absolutely hysterical....thanks Moppy:) She plays a little song and then lays eggs. Walker said, "Mommy, she poops out her eggs"...Me: "No sweetie, she is laying eggs".

After church this morning we came back to hunt eggs!

Having fun finding eggs in his tree house!

The Easter bunny left money in my eggs!

The money went straight to the Ice Cream Truck fund:)

Working so hard to open an egg.

Basket is full!!

Walker and Daddy were twins today!

My sweet boys!!

Such a special day and we love and miss all of our family and friends!

Ice Cream Truck

What's that I hear Daddy?

It's the Ice Cream Truck Daddy!!

Waiting so patiently for the ice cream truck!

Walker had no idea what the little truck with the music playing was until our sweet neighbors introduced him to the Ice Cream Truck! Their son Grady loves the Ice Cream Truck and guess who is now obsessed too:) And you can hear the stinkin' thing coming from inside the house too. I would like to ask him if he can turn down his music just a little...LOL!

Yesterday right before dinner I heard the truck coming while we were making dinner, so Patrick and I started talking really loud....nope Walker says, "SSSHHHHH guys listen...the Ice Cream Truck is coming". Nothing works...HA!

So proud of his Rocket popsicle.

This is what he wants to buy every time. He's such a creature of habit:)

Dentist Visit

It was that time again for Walker's 6 month cleaning at the dentist. Last summer when we went for his first visit he wouldn't allow the hygienist to clean his teeth, so the dentist did an oral evaluation. He looked over his teeth and counted all of them. I was a little nervous going this week because I didn't know how he would react. Oh my goodness, he totally shocked me. He got up in the chair, put the sunglasses on and followed Mrs. Andreas directions perfectly. I was so proud of him! He even let her take x-rays of his teeth. Wow, I couldn't believe it. So the BIG BOY got his teeth cleaned and a fluoride treatment. Yea, for being so good Walker Leigh!!

Mrs. Andrea was telling him about Mr. Thirsty- Mr. Thirsty squirts water in his mouth:)

Let the cleaning begin!

He also got to watch NickJr. while Mrs. Andrea cleaned his teeth.

What a difference 6 months makes:)

We've started flossing his teeth...just another thing to add to Mommy's "to do list":)

Touch A Truck

A few weeks ago we went to a fundraiser called Touch A Truck hosted by the Junior League of Wilmington. It was such a fun event and totally a little boys dream! We look forward to going next year. I know a little boy who will be super pumped to go back considering it took all we had to get him to leave the event. Every kind of truck, van, bus and outdoor equipment was there. I will not bore you will all of our pictures, just a few:):)

Checking out the medical helicopter.

This was my favorite and even better watching the helicopter leave the event.

Walker thought the helicopter was so cool.

I couldn't believe he sat on the helicopter!

Such a handsome big boy!

Walking out the back of the helicopter.

Checking out the giant crane/tow truck!

He was so excited when he spotted Mater on the side of the truck.

Our favorite moving company was even there!

Playing on the lawn mower and landscaping truck.

Checking out the cool drilling equipment!

Driving the cement truck!

He kept saying this is like Uncle Ben's and Papas tractors:)

Sitting on the tolley!

See the yellow hat in the window?

We love firetrucks!

Checking out the back of the ambulance!

Let's hope he never has to ride in one of these:)

And let's hope we never see the S.W.A.T team:)

We had a great time at Touch A Truck!

Everyone was so nice and so patient with the children.
