Happy Thanksgiving

We had such a Happy Thanksgiving!
It was such a special treat to have Jules and Pops here for Thanksgiving!

Jules baked Christmas cookies and Walker and Pops enjoyed icing and decorating them.
Let's just say the kitchen definitely looked like a 3 yr old decorated cookies. At least he had a great time doing it, right:)

We really enjoyed Pops' famous homemade cinnamon rolls.
They are so yummy, Pops!!

Someone (Jules) taught Walker how to do bunny ears while taking a picture.

Well, there went a rotten pumpkin down the hill with a ROTTEN little boy...HAHA!

Thanks Jules and Pops for spending a few days with us and celebrating Thanksgiving with us. We are so thankful for you and we love you both dearly!!

Little Indian

Getting ready for the Thanksgiving program at his school.
The children had the option to dress up like an Indian, Pilgrim or Turkey.
Walker wanted to be an Indian:) And a super cute Indian he was:)
Check out his cowboy boots....I tried to tell him the Indians did not wear cowboy boots:)

Love this little Indian!

He was so excited to see us in the santuary.
Jules and Pops also were here for a few days and got to his performance.

This is Walker's little friend Owen. Owen was a super cute turkey:)

After the program we all headed over to the fellowship hall for Walker's class feast. I made these super yummy Pilgrim Hats to take for dessert:) They were a huge hit and I had so much fun making them. We had so much fun and all the parents made such yummy food. It was also such a special treat for Jules and Pops to join in on the fun. I'm looking forward to watching Walker perform in K-4 next year:)

Special Visitor and Getting Ready.....

We are having a lot of fun getting the house ready for Christmas. We love watching Walker take everything in. Each year this time gets more and more special with him. This has always been my favorite time of year and Walker adds so much excitement to it!

We received a very special visit from "Buddy" the Elf a couple of weeks ago.
Buddy brought Walker, "Cars" pj's. He couldn't believe it. He gets so excited every morning when he comes downstairs and finds Buddy. I'm not sure if Buddy has helped us as much as people say, but it's fun to see Walker's little eyes and smile light up when he finds him.

Walker and I had fun setting his new little tree up.
He had so much fun putting the ornaments on it, once we moved it up to his room. When anyone comes over he loves to show them his Christmas tree:)

Enjoying our Neighborhood!

We are loving our neighbors and our neighborhood so much!
It was so hard leaving our neighborhood in Myrtle Beach because of our close friends we had their, but our new neighborhood is turning out to be just as great. The neighborhood is so kid friendly. Our neighbors beside us have a 2 1/2 year old little boy and a 7 month old baby boy. How perfect is that!! Walker and Grady have become the best of friends. Both share a love for trucks and the outdoors. Our neighbors across the street also have children Walker's age that we love too.

We got together one night for chili and the boys decided to carve pumpkins.
Walker and Grady supervised the Dads:)

Walker and Grady at the Fire Station trick-or-treating.

Griffin (neighbors across the street), Walker and Grady ready for the obstacle course.

We set up an obstacle course one Saturday morning, oh, about 9am:)
They had to run, jump over the brooms, kick a ball and give a high-five to cross the finish line. They all have so much fun playing together. Such a fun street to live on and I am so excited to watch Walker grow up surrounded by such fun kids!

Daddy's Little Helper!

Walker absolutely LOVES to help Daddy mow the grass.

Totally in his element with Daddy!
And he always wants to wear his sunglasses to protect his eyes:)

It definitely takes Daddy a lot longer to mow, but it's well worth it!
After mowing Walker says, "Daddy let's weed and Daddy let's blow":)
Love these two so much!!

A Special Visit from our sweet friends!

I'm playing a little catch up, so be patient:)

In October we had a very special visit from our sweet friends Abby, Peyton, Kristy, JD and Allie! The gang came up early one Saturday morning and spent the afternoon visiting us. We had so much fun showing them around. We didn't do much...the most important thing on our list was to allow the boys to spend as much time together. It was a beautiful warm October day so we spent a lot of time outside playing.

They had so much fun riding around the neighborhood!

They enjoyed eating a nice lunch outside on the deck!

They especially loved eating the pumpkin cake my mom and I made for them:)

Sweet Sweet Friends!!!
I think this picture is absolutely adorable.
The birthday boys:)

They always love playing in the dirt!
And I'm not sure why Walker is barefoot:)

Love these three so much!
We feel so lucky to have such special friends!

I can't believe we got all four of them to stand together.
It definitely took a lot of coaxing before this happened......

And their off!!!!!!

Thank you Harbaugh's and Grizzle's for an awesome visit!
We had so much fun and can't wait to see you all again soon. Thank you for visiting us in our new city:) We love you guys!!

Happy Halloween!!

Ahoy Matey!!

I think this little Pirate is absolutely irresistible!!!!!!!

Walker wanted to be Jake from "Jake and The Neverland Pirates" from the Disney Channel. He loves Jake and was so excited when we found his costume. We bought his costume in September and he pretty much tried it on every night. He loves to run around the house playing Jake and Daddy and I play Captain Hook:) He thinks it's the funniest thing. When he is finished playing he will say, "I'm going to be Walker now":)

Heading out to Trick-or-Treat!

Trick-or-Treat at the Fire Station.
Walker loved visiting the Fire Station.

Our neighborhood really has some great decorations!
Walker wasn't sure about the bloody hand coming out of the ground:)

We caught up with some of our friends.

One of the neighbors getting into the spirit:)

Where are all the trick-or-treaters Mom?

Walker loved being our little helper.
He did get scared once and it was so funny. Very calmly put the candy down, ran into the study and said, "Mommy they are really scary".

A family of Pirates:)
This picture was taken on Friday night right before Patrick and I headed out to our "Adult Halloween Party".
