Walkers First Trip to Kentucky

Boy have we had a BIG last few days. Where do I even begin to start......................

We left a week ago tonight for Walkers very first hotel stay before leaving to visit Jules, Pops, Moke, Beck, Uncle Harry, Aunt Elaine, our WKU family and all of our college friends. Walker did so well at the hotel. We were lucky he didn't wake up the entire floor:) On Thursday, Walker took his very first plane ride. It's amazing how many people stare at you wondering if "THAT BABY" is going to be on their flight. I was worried about his ears popping, but has most of you know he loves to eat, so thats what we did the entire flight:) and it worked.

From the airport Jules picked us up and we went to visit all of our WKU friends on campus. Everyone was so excited to meet Walker. After meeting everyone and Walker spitting up on most everyone's nice work clothes it was time to go!! We then drove to Louisville, Kentucky to finally meet Walkers Great Grandpa and Great Grandma....Moke and Beck! It was so great to watch Walker with Moke and Beck. Moke told him all there was to know about life and Beck enjoyed playing with him on the floor.

Thank you to Aunt Elaine and Uncle Harry for coming over to see me and taking good care of me while mommy and daddy were at the wedding. I had so much fun with you and can't wait to see you again soon. Aunt Elaine fed me and got me dressed in my cute outfit to meet all of mommy and daddys college friends!!

On Saturday night we all attended Jerry and Katie's wedding. Jerry and Katie are two very special people in our lives and we were so excited for Walker to meet them. Walker also met Baby Ty Fox. Ty is only a few days older than Walker, but Walker is by far twice his size:) Walker and Ty talked for a while at the reception and they both have decided to meet at WKU in 2030 and play baseball just like their daddy's. Walker at second base and Ty in the outfield. We were so glad all of our very special college friends finally got to meet Walker!!! Jules and Pops took Walker back to Moke and Becks, so Mommy and Daddy could have a little "party time" with their friends. Here are a few pictures from Jerry and Katies reception. Walker did not make it into any of the pictures because he was literally being carried around the entire reception meeting everyone. He was a huge hit!!

On Sunday night Jules and Pops invited friends over for dinner out on the patio. It was so nice to see everyone. Thank you to all for coming over and sharing such a special time with us. Walker got to meet two very special people in my life. Two very special friends who have made me the mom I am today. Thank you to Aunt Emily and Aunt Suzanne for coming over to meet me!!
