This week at Walker's school they are celebrating Halloween. All this week they will be exploring different Halloween activities. Today they carved a GIANT pumpkin. Some of his classmates were afraid, but Walker jumped right in and helped hollow out the pumpkin. I'm sure it was very messy when they pulled out the seeds. I can only imagine what they all must have looked like. I can't wait to see the pictures his teachers took today. They will also be toasting and tasting the pumpkin seeds. They are reading books, singing songs and learning finger plays all about pumpkins!!! Walker will miss the Halloween party on Friday, so he helped me last night decorate chocolate eyeball cupcakes to share with his friends today. He decorated them so well.

Last week to kick off pumpkins in his class they were each given a small pumpkin to paint. We brought his home from school today to enjoy. As you can see he was trying to launch it off the couch. He was successful, bouncing the pumpkin on the hardwoods and hitting the wall making a huge orange mark on the wall:)
We can't wait to go trick-or-treating this weekend at Moppy's house. Walker is going to be very short giraffe:) Happy Halloween Week!!
