Random Pictures

Sorry I haven't posted in two weeks. It's bad when I get emails from friends/family wondering when I'm going to update the blog. It's really hard to find time because we stay outside all day and come inside barely in time for bath and book time before bed. When we finally get settled down we are so exhausted. I wouldn't change it for the world, but man Walker is a busy busy almost 2-year old:)

Daddy found a little baby turtle in the road and thought it would be fun for all three of us to walk to one of our ponds in the neighborhood and let it go in the water. Well, it was a great idea until Walker freaked because we let the turtle go and he couldn't see it any longer in the water. I kept saying to him that it was okay because Mr. Turtle needed to go back to his home where he is safe and go night night....nothing was working. He screamed all the way home and kept saying, "Turtle, Turtle, Turtle. Maybe we will save another turtle when Walker can understand we are helping Mr. Turtle:)

I never go to Dollar General, but my neighbor found this adorable horsey there, so I HAD to go buy one for Walker:) Patrick and I were talking in the kitchen one afternoon while Walker was playing in the living room. The next thing I realized was an almost naked little boy galloping through the house laughing hysterically while Ribbie chased him. I could hardly take the picture we were laughing so hard at him. And don't ask me....I have no idea why he doesn't have any shorts on.

I just love this picture. I think his face is priceless. Hmmmm, what are we going to do next mommy? Before the CCU spring football game last weekend they had a Kids Fest that was so much fun. Lots of fun inflatables, clown people making balloons, a fire truck, face painting and lots of other stuff.

Walker got to hang out with Rachel and Megan for a little while. He was more interested in playing with the balloons. He will probably look back on these pictures and think he was a very lucky little guy:)

This is pretty much where we hung out during the Kids Fest. The nice firemen gave Walker a hat (which you saw him wearing while galloping through the house) and a coloring book. They were so nice to let him sit up in the "BIG SEAT" and he LOVED IT!! I asked them if they were trying to confuse the kids with a white fire truck....he said that they use this fire truck at night because its easier to see then a red fire truck....not sure how you would miss the sirens and flashing lights on a red truck at night, but whatever. Walker had a BLAST driving and that's all that matters:)

After the spring game we hung out at the baseball field. Instead of watching the game Walker found a "tractor" to play on. He was so content and Daddy was happy too because he could see the game from the "tractor".

We are so excited because Moppy comes on Friday for a few days!! Yeah!!
