We had so much fun attending basketball games at CCU this year. This was Walker's 3rd basketball season as a Chanticleer:)

This handsome little boy absolutely loves sports. His two favorite sports are football and basketball. I had to stop telling him we were going to the games, because he was driving me bonkers asking, "Mommy, go to basketball game now"..."No honey, we have to go to school first". I can't tell you how many times in one day this kid asks me about going to the games. If I counted it would probably be close to 15 times, plus it's a bonus because he knows Daddy will be there too. Oh, and lets not forget Chauncey:) He still likes to see him at a very very far distance:) It will be interesting too see how much he likes the characters at Disney this summer.

After each game the band plays a few songs while the kids run around on the court. Walker loves to run around after the games, but when the band is playing he focuses on them 100%.

We also bring lots of snacks and what cute little boy doesn't leave the house without bringing ten trucks/tractors with him. And I will say the nice "older" couples we sent around are soooooo wonderful to us. It was a challenge this year sitting inside the row and Walker wanting to go potty 5 times during the game. We would just sit down from pee peeing and he would say, "Mommy, I need to go poo poo"....are you kidding me Walker. Last year the sweet lady that we sat near brought Walker a truck. How awesome is that:)

We LOVE these two sooooo much! I can't tell you how much I appreciate them. Walker absolutely adores them and he will realize one day just how lucky he was to have such beautiful girls babysitting him. We LOVE you Rachel & Megan! I've always said if their parents would let me adopt them I would in a second. I have been so spoiled with Rachel and Megan always being available to help. It's the best feeling when I know one of the sisters are coming over to babysit and they both show up at the door just because they wanted to play with Walker.

These are my sweet friends Barbara and Amy. I love these two so much and Walker absolutely adores them too. They are two of our assistant basketball coaches wives. We love hanging out with them. And yes, the boys love each other too:)
As most of you know this was our last season as a Chanticleer. In February, Patrick accepted the Senior Associate Athletic Director and the Executive Director of the Seahawk Club at UNC Wilmington. We are officially a Seahawk and we are super excited to start this new chapter in our lives. I've been a single parent for the last month and it's not so bad:) I just have to stay focused and know it's only temporary until our house sells. We are truly going to miss all of our friends. Being a part of the Chanticleer family was such a special time in our lives. This area will always hold a very special place in our hearts because it's where our sweet boy was born.

You have bonded with so many good friends there and yes Walker's first 3 years will always bring you joy in remembering these loyal friends. I also agree with Miss Dot- you have the ability to do what I always aspired-write a book!!Your pose and ability to see in others and write your feelings is a very precious gift-YOU SHOULD TRY, anyway. Love this update-m
