Merry Christmas!!

We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! We had a very fun and relaxing Christmas. This was the first Christmas we didn't spend half of the holiday in the car traveling. It was so nice to drive to my parents house or Moppy and Papa's house for a few days and then back home. Both Patrick and I have been off work since December 22nd. No plans, just relaxing and spending time together just the three of us:) We are headed back to work tomorrow and I am totally dreading it. I hope you enjoy looking at Walker's Christmas. He makes things so special and so exciting. His excitement is so contagious and it's just what you need during the holidays!!

A friend of ours, Mrs. Sarah made this sugar cookie gingerbread man for Walker, so we brought it to Moppy's house for everyone to enjoy. How clever and so sweet of her to make Walker a giant cookie for Christmas. He loved it!!

All ready for Santa!
We left Santa a cheese stick, two different type of cookies, milk and of course carrots for the reindeer. All of Walker Leigh's favorites:)

Santa was so good to Walker!
Santa brought all of his favorite things, a super cool CARS bike and lots of trucks and cars.

Checking out all of his stocking goodies!

Mommy's present for Christmas!!

Moppy and Papa gave him just what he wanted.........

A super cool saxophone!
And he is so good at playing his instrument.

All geared up to ride his bike....such a handsome boy!

And he's off!
He is such a pro at riding his bike.

And check out my new Pirate rain boots Santa brought!

We loved visiting our friend Zuri!

Who needs toys when you have an empty box to play in!

Helping Uncle Ben put together his really cool excavator from Uncle Ben, Aunt Mandy and Cousin Logan! One of the highlights of our visit was Walker getting to play with his cousin. Walker absolutely ADORES Logan. They play very well together except for when Walker told Logan he was on the "naughty" list. Lets just say that did not go over very well:)

Matching Excavators!

We also got to visit with my sweet elementary school friend Diana and her kiddos Mason and Anna Claire. Walker and Mason are too funny together:) They were showing each other how well they can play Angry Birds on the ipad.

After we got back from SC we had more presents waiting on us from the Ransdell's.

Walker loves his new train book and all of the goodies Jules, Pops, Beck, Uncle Matt Matt, Aunt Sandra, Aunt Laine and Uncle Harry sent to him.

And finally...................

Santa dropped off an extra special present while we were in SC.....
A TRAIN TABLE!
This was all Walker asked for and he was so upset when he woke up on Christmas morning and he didn't see it. We told him Santa might have brought it to his house in NC. This is all he talked about and could hardly wait to get home and see. And what do you know....Santa dropped his train table off in his playroom while we were gone! He was soooooooooo excited when he say it.

Playing Wac-A-Mole with Daddy!

I won, I won, I won!!!!!! I beat DADDY!!!!

Thank you to Moppy and Papa for such a special Christmas and to all our family and friends we saw while we were there. We had such a great time with each and every one of you! An extra special THANKS goes to Moppy for taking Walker back to SC a few days early and allowing Patrick and I to have some free time in NC. I'm not sure what I would do without my parents! Thank you both for your continued support and LOVE! I can hardly wait until next Christmas. Each year the holiday season gets better and better with Walker. We have lots of things to look forward to in 2012! Happy New Year from us. We love you all!

I had more fun than anyone-having my family together was absolutely the best present-I suppose all mothers feel that blessed feeling to see joy, love, happiness and smiles on their childrens faces. Margaret and I think that Diana and you look just like you did when you were in high school. It's always fun to see your friends and their children during the holidays
as they've always had a special
place in my heart, too. I enjoy the blog and you do tell a delightful story with the photos-keep it up.
Love you guys so much--
