HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. We have so much to be thankful for and so blessed with wonderful family and friends. Walker headed up to my parents house a week before Thanksgiving to spend some time with Moppy and Papa before we arrived. Unfortunately, the few days he was away I got strep throat and Patrick was working like a crazy person trying to get ready for a playoff football game. Patrick was not able to spend Thanksgiving with us because of work and we missed him terribly. I arrived at my parents house on Wednesday and boy did we have the most fun together. I have to say this was the best Thanksgiving we've had together in a very long time. It was so peaceful with Walker and Logan running around giggling and enjoying each other. Those two monkeys are so funny
with the things they say. I can only imagine what they will be like together in a few years. Thank you so much Moppy and Papa for a wonderful few days. We love you so much!
Do these two not look like T-R-O-U-B-L-E?

This is why we call them monkeys. I'm not sure if you can tell, but Walker was multitasking while hanging out in the tree by eating a powdered sugar donut. He knows he only gets donuts at Moppys house.
The weather was gorgeous all week. Walker loved running in the leaves, playing on the swing set, digging in the dirt with his tractors, climbing trees, picking up sticks....all the things a little boy should do:)
This was my favorite part of our visit. We have never been home when the baby chicks are delivered, so this time we were very lucky. I wasn't sure how Walker would react, but needless to say he LOVED it. On our way to the farm he kept saying, "Me hold baby chick". Our farm has 5 houses and each house was delivered between 27,000-30,000 baby chicks. In this particular house 27,200 baby chicks:) They were so stinkin' cute and so tiny. They sure do grow up to be nasty looking animals considering how cute they are as baby chicks. "Chirp Chirp".
He wasn't too sure at first after Papa let him walk around, but after about 30 secs he was walking around like he owned the place:)
Do you see how red Walker's cheeks were?? When the chicks are so small they have to keep the heat on 90 degrees. It was steaming in there and add the smell with the heat... all I need to say is "Yummy". Walker didn't mind a bit. Finally, I convinced him to leave the house, because the baby chicks needed to take a nap. He walked out saying, "Bye baby chicks night night."

Farmer Uncle Ben and Walker
We can't visit the farm without playing on the tractors. Uncle Ben wanted to take Walker on a ride, but Walker was scared. Right now he's perfectly okay with just sitting on the tractor. He wanted Moppy and I to take turns sitting with him.
In Walker's class his teachers sent home a white sheet of paper outlined with a drawing of a turkey. The instructions said to be very creative and decorate the turkey to display in their class. We decided make our turkey a Chanticleer football player. Walker did such a great job helping us decorate his turkey.
Thanks to Moppy and Papa I was able to have dinner with some very special old friends:) It's always nice to catch up with friends you've known since elementary school. Diana, Ashley & Jamie...I had such a great time and thank you for being such special friends!! Also, I would like to give some of my special blog readers The Shealy Family a shout-out. It was so good to see you guys Friday night even though it was only for 5 minutes. Thank you to Mrs. Sara and Mandy for keeping up with us through the blog:)

Thank you for letting us keep Walker, we did have a good time. Will have to give the GOAT FARM photos to you. Walker would have picked the quail up if he could have caught them. He didn't care so much for the 500+ goats, I didn't care for the smell.HAHA-Sorry PCR missed dinner-YOU are a very good cook and I did so enjoy your cooking dinner with me. Looking forward to seeing the little"torpedo" soon and you need to give me your birthday cake order-love you all so much.
It looks like you had such a fun week! Walker did much better around the chicks than Mason would have! I love the pic of him climbing the tree....so cute! I am impressed with your creativity on the turkey!! I had so much fun hanging out on Friday night....we should do that more often!
Such a fun week for Walker! I was wondering in the first photo what was in his mouth.... grandparents are all about giving their grand-babies foods mommy and daddy don't right?! :)..... Cason's treat w/ his poppa is McDonald's.
Had a blast Friday night. We do need to do that more often. I doubt John would let me out of the again under the same circumstances though. ha!
