Walker's K4 end of the year program was last Tuesday night. I was so excited to see what they had been working on for a few weeks. It's so hard to believe he is finished with preschool. Just seems like yesterday he was a little guy starting K3. He has grown so much and we are so thankful for his school and the teachers and administrators who have been such a big part of our lives the last two years.
We are so thankful for his teacher. Just look at her so beautiful inside and out. She will always have a special place in my heart. She went above and beyond her "teacherly duties" to help Walker when his leg was broken. We will be forever grateful for her. This was an incredible year for all of us.
The Nifty Fifty
George Washington, Uncle Sam and Abe Lincoln
"The Nifty Fifty"
These three stole the show!!
I have always been so proud of Walker in everything he has accomplished, but this was on a whole different level. 80 four years olds each dressed and representing the Fifty States some with partners and some without all memorizing their lines and standing up in front of a crowded audience. All I can say is wow!! The program was amazing!!
The Nifty Fifty started off the program by saying......
"We would like to thank our moms and dads for their support this year. We hope you enjoy our program." The Nifty Fifty!
Uncle Sam started off with The Pledge of Allegiance.
Uncle Sam represented the state of Connecticut.
He said, "Representing the Constitution state. My state song is Yankee Doodle, My State bird is the Robin. I am Connecticut".
He then lead off singing the song "Yankee Doodle" with his friends joining in.
He memorized his parts and did such an awesome job!!!
He sounded like the sweetest little boy!! Way to go buddy we are so proud of you!!!
