Happy Happy 5th Birthday, Part II

On Monday we kicked off the birthday week celebration with a bicycle ride to the fire station. The fireman are always so unbelievably nice. Walker always asks them a thousand questions, usually the same questions over and over and they patiently answer every single one. Walker just walks right in like he owns the place. They are used to us always stopping by. It just so happened they were washing the big fire truck. So, they put him to work and he loved it!

Learning how to clean the big tires!

Then later we headed downtown for lunch on the river and then a trip to the USS North Carolina.
It was our first visit touring the battleship and Walker loved it. He had so much fun touring the inside of the big ship. He scored a super cool USS North Carolina for his bookshelf to always remember his trip. Thanks Jules!!

Yay for Jules being here for birthday week!!!

It was a super fun day together!
What a great way to kick off this special little boys birthday week!!

On Tuesday afternoon we headed down to Carolina Beach for family night on the boardwalk.
We ate at a super cute bar and then headed over to ride all the rides. It was our first trip to ride all the rides and Walker had a blast!! He didn't want to leave, but we were all so exhausted:)

I think he had the most fun on the slides:)

Riding his very first roller coaster with Daddy!

Jules was the only one that was brave enough to ride this with him.
We had just finished dinner with full bellies and this ride goes around and around super fast if you know what I mean. She made it out alive barely!!!

Having a ball..........

We finally convinced him it was time to go home, so he could get to bed and wake up for his birthday. Thanks Jules for being here and enjoying such a fun night. We will be able to look back on these pictures and remember the huge smile on Walker's face the entire night:) What a great way to celebrate turning 5 years old!!

Perfect pictures for the sweetest 5 year old enjoying his birthday week. Tell him I always loved the Tilt A Whirl the best. Glad Julie was there to enjoy all the fun, and she rode some rides with him without getting sick.
