Best Boys in the Entire World

THESE THREE LITTLE BOYS

ARE

ABSOLUTELY

AMAZING!!!

On Sunday we went over to the Harbaugh's house to have a cookout and let the boys play together. And let me tell you they had an absolute blast together. The weather was gorgeous and the Harbaugh's have a great fenced in backyard, so they played their little hearts out! It was fun for the Mommy's too because we knew they couldn't get out of the backyard, so we were able to relax a little:) Walker, JD and Peyton are truly so much fun to be around. They love to do everything just like the other. They all wanted to run around bare foot, they all tried to run faster than each other, they tried to scream later than each other and etc. They have such a special bond, it's just AWESOME!

Checking out a golf ball in the yard.
Allie, JD's sister wanted in on the fun too.

Helping Peyton get around the yard even though it was motorized.

They even wanted to have a picnic just the three of them on the patio. I'm not sure how much food was eaten, because they hardly could stand being away from the 4-wheeler.

The BIG 4-wheeler was the hit of the day for the boys. JD was so good about sharing with his friends. Walker was very hesitant at first, but really took over once he realized how much fun he would have driving the 4-wheeler. This 4-wheeler is definitely a "machine" and quite scary for a 2 1/2 yr old to drive:) We had a few accidents....Allie was in a head on collision with her brother and Walker got ran over too. I can't tell you how many times we all said, "WATCH OUT"!!

JD got his new toy for doing so well on the potty. We are so proud of you JD for doing such a great job on the big boy potty. Welcome to the club:)

They had a blast driving around the yard on the 4-wheeler!

This picture of the boys will be my favorite forever!!

Check out the three little fingers digging into the icing:)

Little did I know, but my sweet friends Kristy and Abby had something up their sleeve for the play date/cookout. They surprised us with a cake that said, "We will miss you" and a photo book of the boys together the last 2 1/2 years. I was so surprised and had to fight back the tears. The photo book was such a thoughtful gift that I will cherish FOREVER! Thank you girls for being such sweet friends!!

They boys eating their chocolate cake!

Mr. Dave (JD's Dad) chased the boys around like a giant monster.
They had the best time running away from him giggling and screaming just like little girls:)

We had such a fun time and are truly so lucky to have such great friends! Thank you Harbaugh's and Grizzles for your thoughtfulness!! We really do appreciate you and love you guys!!
We can't wait to have our first play date of the spring at the beach during Easter weekend.

Surgery & Fun at the Playground

Gosh, I love this sweet face so much!

We had a tough week here at the Ransdell's. Walker had tubes put in his ears when he was seven months old and those have since fallen out. He's had about 4 ear infections since the tubes fell out. We made the decision on Tuesday for him to have surgery to have tubes placed back in his ears and have his adenoids removed. So, last Wednesday was the big day and Walker did fantastic. Our ENT was wonderful and said he had an excessive amount of fluid in his right ear and his adenoids were extremely enlarged and most likely causing some of his problems. It helped a little knowing what to expect, especially when we saw him in the recovery room. Coming out of the anesthesia is rather an experience and Walker acted the same way both times...CRAZY! It was pretty funny when we first arrived at the surgical center. They gave Walker some relaxing medicine that made him very loopy. Patrick and I actually asked if we could take some home with us:) Poor little guy couldn't even walk he was so loopy.

Everyday after school we go to the neighborhood playground for an hour before its time for dinner. Walker loves it so much and most times its difficult to convince him its time to go back home. Almost everyday our friends Mrs. Jenn and Miss Keeley join us for some fun.

It's such a special treat when Daddy joins us for some fun:)

Walker loves to swing.
He usually says, "Mommy, push me higher, I'm a big boy".

And yes for some reason he has his shoes off at the playground.

Walker and Conner had a blast throwing the ball to Ribbie and watching her swim to get it. I think both of the boys would have liked to go swimming with her:)

I wonder what was so funny??
Walker absolutely adores Conner. He wants to do everything Conner does. We are so lucky to have such great friends who live in our neighborhood.

Ribbie enjoying her day of swimming!

Just hanging out....

Don't you just love Walker boys morning bed head...LOL!

In February and March we had both grandparents visit us and we loved it! It is always such a special treat when they come to stay with us. Jules sent us a truck cookie cutter and Moppy decided to make pancakes with it for us one morning. Walker loved his truck pancakes.

Walker loves showing all of his tricks on the guitar. He usually runs wild around the house playing his guitar shouting Yee Haw, Yee Haw! Can you tell Ribbie absolutely loves her life....check out her face.

In February Jules and Pops came to visit us. WKU played CCU in baseball and what perfect time to come visit us. Walker enjoyed a little popcorn during the first game. Say Hi to Jules in the background.

Pops and Jules also brought one of Walker's Christmas gifts with them. We couldn't fit this in the car with all the other presents, so it had to stay back in Kentucky. Walker was so excited to get it and he calls it his "race car". It's a motorized car...I just wished it went just a little bit faster:) It takes us forever to get any where and he's not the best at steering.

We drove the race car over to one of the construction sites in the neighborhood to watch the bulldozers.

Thanks to Moppy, Jules and Pops for coming to visit us. We are just waiting to hear when you're coming back. It's just not the same when you are not here. We love you all and can't wait to see you again, hopefully, sooner than later.

Aquarium With Our Favorite Nugents!!

A few Sundays ago we met our wonderful friends who are also our neighbors at the aquarium. We had such a great time walking around with them. Chris and Jenn are so funny...Don't tell Chris, but I think he's pretty hysterical. Their little girl Keeley is almost 1 1/2 yrs old. We call her "Miss Thang". She is cute as a button and always dressed adorable. I mean look at her little fur boots and vest. This picture was taken at the end of our visit. Miss Keeley was ready for her nap.

Walker loves going to the aquarium and seeing all of the fish.

Both of them are checking out the sharks. This is Walker's favorite area because of the giant sea turtle swimming with the sharks.

Checking out the crabs.
Right after this picture was taken, I accidentally stuck Keeley's feet in the water...oops..luckily her mother forgave me for messing up those fur boots:) She's so lite compared to Walker and I didn't realize she was swimming with the crabs...oops!

Next we moved on to the sting rays. Each visit Walker gets comfortable touching the sting rays. Probably the next time he will jump in head first with them:)

Look at that sweet thing, oh my! Boys watch out!!

I wouldn't want him driving my ship:)

Showing Keeley how its done:)

We had such a great time at the aquarium and can't wait to go back!! Thank you Nugents for inviting us, we had a blast!

CCU Basketball

We had so much fun attending basketball games at CCU this year. This was Walker's 3rd basketball season as a Chanticleer:)

This handsome little boy absolutely loves sports. His two favorite sports are football and basketball. I had to stop telling him we were going to the games, because he was driving me bonkers asking, "Mommy, go to basketball game now"..."No honey, we have to go to school first". I can't tell you how many times in one day this kid asks me about going to the games. If I counted it would probably be close to 15 times, plus it's a bonus because he knows Daddy will be there too. Oh, and lets not forget Chauncey:) He still likes to see him at a very very far distance:) It will be interesting too see how much he likes the characters at Disney this summer.

After each game the band plays a few songs while the kids run around on the court. Walker loves to run around after the games, but when the band is playing he focuses on them 100%.

We also bring lots of snacks and what cute little boy doesn't leave the house without bringing ten trucks/tractors with him. And I will say the nice "older" couples we sent around are soooooo wonderful to us. It was a challenge this year sitting inside the row and Walker wanting to go potty 5 times during the game. We would just sit down from pee peeing and he would say, "Mommy, I need to go poo poo"....are you kidding me Walker. Last year the sweet lady that we sat near brought Walker a truck. How awesome is that:)

We LOVE these two sooooo much! I can't tell you how much I appreciate them. Walker absolutely adores them and he will realize one day just how lucky he was to have such beautiful girls babysitting him. We LOVE you Rachel & Megan! I've always said if their parents would let me adopt them I would in a second. I have been so spoiled with Rachel and Megan always being available to help. It's the best feeling when I know one of the sisters are coming over to babysit and they both show up at the door just because they wanted to play with Walker.

These are my sweet friends Barbara and Amy. I love these two so much and Walker absolutely adores them too. They are two of our assistant basketball coaches wives. We love hanging out with them. And yes, the boys love each other too:)

As most of you know this was our last season as a Chanticleer. In February, Patrick accepted the Senior Associate Athletic Director and the Executive Director of the Seahawk Club at UNC Wilmington. We are officially a Seahawk and we are super excited to start this new chapter in our lives. I've been a single parent for the last month and it's not so bad:) I just have to stay focused and know it's only temporary until our house sells. We are truly going to miss all of our friends. Being a part of the Chanticleer family was such a special time in our lives. This area will always hold a very special place in our hearts because it's where our sweet boy was born.
