T-Ball

We officially have a "T-Baller"!!
It's so hard to believe Walker is at the age to play T-ball. He's just growing into such a big boy. This weekend was full of T-ball events. Saturday was individual and team pictures, Sunday was opening ceremonies and tonight was our first game. Our team name is 1800- Got Junk. The boys think their team name is so funny. Patrick is also helping out as the first base coach...Yay..Go Daddy! We have such a great group of boys and I can't wait to watch all of them grow into little baseball players this season.

Walker and his buddies!
Walker, Dominic, Owen and Jack.

Walker and his best buddy Owen!

During the opening ceremonies on Sunday each team walked out on the field and was introduced.
The boys thought it was so cool.

My baseball players!!

Tonight was Walker's very first t-ball game!
Enjoy the photos...sorry I had the hardest time choosing from all the pictures I took tonight!
Go Team Junk!!

Check out his number...YAY for #9...just like his Daddy!!
Walker is such a trooper....he did not miss one practice with his full body cast on and is very determined to play. Both teams approved to let Walker hit and allowed one of his teammates to run for him. Walker is still unable to run and his doctor also requested him to not run the bases until next week.

Check out the first base coach!!
Yay....Go Daddy!!

I just thought of something that I hope Brooke and Patrick will one day tell Walker: The joy of playing ball I saw in Brooke in softball and the joy I saw in Brooke in later years watching Patrick play at Daniel High and on the many road trips we made to see him in Travel playing. And not to forget how much I enjoyed seeing him play at WKU along with Brooke. Mercy we have started a new era-Walker-. Praying I'll get to yell for Walker to-run run, I love you all dearly and am thankful to see the love you all have together and the love you share in sports with me.
