What a fun trip to Disney World!! All I can say is WOW!!
We got back from our trip to Mickey's House (this is what Walker calls Disney) 2 wks ago and let me tell you friends I'm about to give you a total overload on pictures. We had an absolute BLAST! I know one little 3yr old that will remember his very first trip to Disney World forever. Patrick is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics and the conference is in Orlando every other year. This was our first trip joining Daddy. We thought it would be fun to make this Walker's 3rd birthday present. We also invited Pops, Jules, Uncle Matt Matt and Aunt Sandra to join us on the adventure. We played at the awesome pool at the hotel during the day on Thursday and Friday while Daddy worked and then we went to Animal Kingdom on Saturday and Magic Kingdom on Sunday.

You might wonder while Walker looks wet? Well, right as we started walking towards Downtown Disney the clouds opened and what felt like a hurricane hit us. We thought we could walk through the rain with umbrellas, but we got absolutely drenched. We all looked like we just stepped out of the shower. I was not allowed to take pictures of the others...Walker was the only one that didn't care:)
When the so called "hurricane" hit we were headed to a really cool restaurant at Downtown Disney. T-Rex Restaurant was so cool and I highly recommend it for all you dino lovers. We actually did not have reservations because they were booked, but when the "hurricane" came I guess people were late or did not show up. Pops took one for the team and ran there to try and get us a table. It worked, he walked right in and sat down. So as we were all still getting soaked he was drinking a beer waiting on us to make a run for it...LOL! Walker is a dino lover and I wish you could have seen his eyes. Every 30 minutes the lights dim and all the animals start moving and making noise. It was fun to pretend to be back in the prehistoric days.
Uncle Matt Matt and Pops enjoyed walking through the restaurant with Walker.
Uncle Matt Matt was with Walker the first time the lights dimmed and all the animals made their noises. Uncle Matt Matt handled it very well:)

I look forward to visiting the T-Rex restaurant again!
Great job Pops for picking this one out!
On Saturday we went to Animal Kingdom
We arrived just before the park opened around 8:30am.
Walker loved the opening ceremony with Mickey, Minnie and Pluto. It was fun to watch his facial expressions seeing the characters for the very first time. The ceremony really got him excited.

We headed start towards the safari ride once the gates opened.
It was a pretty cool experience.
Luckily, we were able to see all of the animals that morning.

I love this picture of Walker.
He looks so cute beside the tiger.
Festival of the Lion King was really cool!
Walker loved riding the Triceratops.
Checking out T-Rex with the boys.

Only Pops would put Walker over the rail to touch T-Rex.
Holding a dinosaur bone!
Walker enjoyed Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade!

Cooling off with Jules after a long day at the park.
We had so much fun on our first day at Animal Kingdom.
It was a great day that we all enjoyed. We made so many great memories celebrating Walker's 3rd birthday. Thank you to Pops, Jules, Uncle Matt Matt and Aunt Sandra for joining us on all the fun!

How fun!!! We went 2 yrs ago.... Cason was way too young but we still had fun. I can't wait to go back in the next couple of years when both boys can enjoy it. Looking at all your pics brought back memories. What a fabulous bday present for Walker!!!
It sure looks as if your trip was everything fun and happy. I'm jealous- Photos makes memories long afterward more precious than even at the time making them. You and Sandra sure were laughing in the band-What did your men think? So glad you all had the time to be together and celebrate Walker's birthday. love you all
